Booking and Payment Schedule
- A minimum of five (5) days’ notice is required to book.
Dietaries Requirements/allergies
- It is the sole requirement of the booking agent or the guest to advise of any dietary requirements. Ascend may not be able to provide guests with specific dietary requirements - unfortunately we cannot cater for vegan.
- Dietary requirements must be provided on booking or at the latest 24hours prior to booking.
Medical/Ability Requirements
- Passengers are responsible for assessing their own health and fitness to participate in a helicopter flight and walking vineyard tour. Any medical conditions, disabilities or special requirements must be disclosed to Ascend prior to booking.
- All passengers must adhere to weight restrictions as specified by South Australian Helicopters. The maximum passenger seat weight allowance on the Robinson R44 is 250kg. Passenger weights must be provided at time of booking. Failure to comply may result in refusal of service without a refund.
General Safety and Biosecurity
- The guest must stay clear of the vineyard and grapevines unless hosted by an employee. Any damage to the vineyard caused by guests will be the financial responsibility of the guest/s.
- Guests must comply with vine health biosecurity measures if deemed necessary. Protective shoe covers will be supplied if needed.
- The guests must keep out of all garden beds and water bodies and always stay within the grounds’ perimeters.
Children
- Due to the nature of the event, there will be no participation for any persons under the age of 18.
Damages of Indemnity
- Guests attending are financially responsible for any damages sustained to any part of any property. Guests must pay in full for any missing, broken or lost items.
Exclusion of Liability
- Ascend accepts no responsibility for any property or goods left on the property.
- Ascend and its employees and agents will not be liable for any injury, loss or damage of any nature, however caused, that is suffered by the guests, agents or other persons associated with the experience, whether before, during or after the experience.
Cancellation and Postponement
- If the weather is deemed unfavourable to offer the experience, guests or the booking agent will be contacted and given the option to cancel, postpone or proceed with an alternative version of the experience, of equal value. We will endeavour to give 24hrs notice where possible.
- In cases of extreme weather, public health concerns ie. bushfire or when it is not possible to offer a modified experience, Ascend reserves the right to cancel a booking with no financial repercussion for the guest. Ascend will endeavour to provide 24hrs notice where possible.
- Guest cancellation policy – outside of 48hrs a full refund is given; within 48 hours there is a 100% cancellation fee.
Responsible Service of Alcohol and Unacceptable Behaviour
- Ascend is committed to the responsible service of alcohol and has a policy to serve guests in a responsible, friendly and professional manner.
- Ascend reserves the right pursuant to section 125 of the Liquor Licensing Act 1997 to refuse service to any intoxicated or disorderly persons nor any visitor who is under the influence of drugs.
Bushfire Safety
- Ascend adheres to strict safety protocols regarding bushfire safety and follows all recommendations and advice from the South Australian Country Fire Service (CFS) regarding bushfire weather ratings as well as warnings in the event of a fire within the following fire districts; Region 1 (Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu Peninsula & Kangaroo Island) Region 3 (Murraylands & Riverland).
Photography and Videos
- Ascend may capture photographs and videos during flights for promotional purposes. The guest/s consents to the use of their likeness in such materials unless otherwise specified in writing.
Privacy Policy
- At Ascend, we take the privacy of guests seriously. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of personal information that Ascend collects, how we use it and how we protect your information.
- We may collect personal information such as names, contact details, weight and payment information when you make a booking or interact with our website. Information about your computer or mobile device including your IP address, browser type and operating system. Usage information about how you use our website such as which pages you visit, how long you spend on each page and what links you click on.
- How we use your information:
- We use your information for booking purposes, communication and to enhance your experience with our services. We do not share your personal information with third parties except as required for operational purposes.
- This may include using your information for our website and its functionality to personalise your experience to communicate with you about our products, services and promotions to process transactions or provide customer service and to comply with legal obligations.
- With your consent we may send your promotional materials. You have the option to opt out of these communications at any time.
- How we protect your information:
- We take appropriate security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, alteration or destruction.
- We use industry standard security protocols to encrypt data in transit and at rest. However, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee the security of your information.
